About Me.

Abigail Kemske is a Pushcart nominated writer from Minnesota. She graduated twice from the University of Minnesota with a B.A. in English, and a M.Ed in English education. Previously, she worked as a middle school English teacher in Minneapolis.

Growing up in the Driftless Area of Wisconsin, Abigail spent much of her childhood exploring the many forested bluffs surrounding her home, a place she returns to in many of her stories. Currently, she lives in the suburbs of Minneapolis where she can be found biking, hiking, gardening, or spending time with her spouse, two children, and their cat.

Her short fiction is published in Across the Margin, Vast Chasm Magazine, A Thin Slice of Anxiety, Apocalypse Confidential, Tales to Terrify and elsewhere. She is a Horror Writers Association (HWA) affiliate. Follow her on most social media platforms @abigailkemske.
